Polyester became common there because it is inexpensive and can be finished smooth. There is no polyester percentage to break into microplastic. Early washes can still throw cotton and hemp lint. Do not buy a mood photo of a high thread count and assume the yarn. ### Keep Polyester Out of the Supima Hemp Sheet Package Check sewing thread, piping, labels, and any fill in a duvet sold beside the sheet. A clean face yarn with polyester thread is a smaller problem than a poly fill, and it is still a plastic component. If the line is "no plastic shedding," decide which components are in scope and write them down. Finishes belong on that list too. A wrinkle resin is not plastic shedding, and it is not nothing.
