Industry Professionals
Built For People With A Love Of The Game
Not an influencer program. Ambassadors are the people whose recommendation moves a fiber decision, and who sit close enough to a brand to make it:
- Designers and product developers choosing next season's cloth.
- Sourcing and materials leads writing the supplier shortlist.
- Sustainability leads who have to defend the fiber choice.
- Consultants and agencies advising brands on materials.

Four Steps
How The Program Works
Apply
Tell us which brands you work with directly and what you influence there. We only take ambassadors with a direct line to a brand, and we keep the program small, every ambassador gets real support, not a login.
Get equipped
You receive physical yarn and fabric samples, the technical spec sheets behind them (counts, blends, constructions, dye route) and the sourcing story: American regenerative acres, no pesticides, no microplastic shed. Everything you need to answer the hard question in the room, not just the easy one.
Introduce
Put Imperium in front of the brands, mills, and buyers you already work with. Heartland's textile team joins the technical conversations when you want backup, and stays out of them when you do not.
Earn
Compensation is incentive-driven and tied to the yarn and fabric volume your introductions convert, plus access to Heartland's ambassador events and trips. Terms are agreed with you individually before anything is signed.
Compensation & Access
Incentive Driven,
Not Transactional
Global Ambassadors are paid and win big on outcomes,
and invited to exclusive fashion events around the world.
Earn
Volume Incentives
Your compensation scales with the yarn and fabric volume your introductions bring on. No cap tied to a single deal, and no payout that depends on you carrying inventory or invoicing the customer.
Attend
Exclusive Events
Ambassador-only sessions with Heartland's textile and agronomy teams, plus a seat with us at the industry events where the fiber conversation is actually happening.
Travel
Farm-To-Mill Trips
See the chain end to end, the Michigan acres, the processing line, and the mills spinning Imperium into yarn. Ambassadors who have stood in the field sell the story better than any deck does.
What you get
- Sample yarn and fabric in the counts and blends you ask for.
- Technical spec sheets, test data, and the regenerative sourcing story.
- Direct line to Heartland's textile team for the questions you cannot answer alone.
- Early look at new constructions before they are published.
- Incentives, events, and trips as the program's compensation.
What we ask
- Represent the fiber honestly, the boundaries as well as the wins.
- Disclose the relationship wherever your industry expects it.
- Bring real introductions, not a list of names.
- Tell us what you hear back, including the objections we lose on.
- Keep unpublished specs and pricing inside the program.
Ambassador Questions
Before You Apply
What is the Heartland Ambassador Program?
It is a partnership program for textile professionals, designers, product developers, mill technicians, sourcing and sustainability leads, consultants, and educators, who want better yarn and fabric specified in their corner of the industry. Ambassadors introduce Imperium hemp and hemp-lyocell to the brands and mills they already work with.
How are ambassadors compensated?
Compensation is incentive-driven: it scales with the yarn and fabric volume your introductions convert, rather than paying a flat fee for posts or impressions. Ambassadors also get access to exclusive Heartland events and farm-to-mill trips. Exact terms are agreed with each ambassador before anything is signed.
Do I need an audience or a following to apply?
No. This is a professional program, not an influencer program. What matters is whether your recommendation reaches people who decide what fiber gets bought, a mill floor, a design room, a sourcing shortlist, not how many followers you have.
What products would I be representing?
Imperium Fiber: American industrial hemp grown without pesticides on regenerative acres, sold as spin-ready fiber, yarn, and fabric, alone or blended with lyocell (Tencel). It is specified as a nylon and polyester alternative for activewear, swim, and next-to-skin apparel, and it sheds no synthetic microplastics.
Do I have to sell or carry inventory?
No. Ambassadors introduce and advocate. Heartland's textile team handles quoting, sampling, contracts, logistics, and invoicing, so you are never holding stock or carrying commercial risk.
What are the events and trips?
Ambassador-only sessions with Heartland's textile and agronomy teams, a seat with us at industry events, and farm-to-mill travel, the Michigan acres, the processing line, and the mills spinning Imperium yarn. Availability is set per season and shared with active ambassadors first.
How do I apply?
Use the contact form on this page or email hello@heartland.io. Tell us where you sit in the textile chain, the kind of programs you influence, and what you would want to put Imperium into first.

Lightweight Hemp Fabric: Fine Enough for Next-to-Skin Activewear
Hemp has a reputation for being heavy and coarse. Fine-count hemp-lyocell changes that, landing at 110 to 150 gsm jersey weights that wear like performance cloth.

The Brand Risk of a Polyester-Only Portfolio
A polyester-only portfolio concentrates a brand's exposure to shifting consumer sentiment, tightening textile regulation, and greenwashing scrutiny, all in one material. Here's how to de-risk it.

Imperium hemp-lyocell yarn and fabric are available in greige and dyed formats, so brands and mills can sample, dye in-house, or run straight to cut-and-sew.
